Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety Disorder Case Won
This month our Florida client won his case for SSI benefits! This client suffered from significant mental health limitations. He came to us after his initial denial from the SSA. He was frustrated with the entire process and needed our assistance. Disability Advocates Group submitted a Request for Reconsideration and after his denial at this step we sought a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge. At this point, we were able to make sure that all his medical records were up to date before the hearing and prepare him for his hearing before the Judge. His medical records noted that he was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety Disorder. They showed he had numerous mental health symptoms such as: depression, racing thoughts, anxiety, and irritability. The medical records also noted that he had limited energy and fatigue because of his mental health issues. We represented this client at the hearing where he testified to the difficulties that he experiences. After the hearing before the Judge, our client was finally granted his disability benefits. We are so happy that this client finally got the benefits he needed and deserved!
